There is no cost to you if you are enrolled in a clinical trial. You will also receive travel reimbursement appon approval.

How often do I visit?

Each study is different. It can vary between visits every two weeks to visits every 3 months.

Can I still see my own doctor?

You can definitely see your own doctor still. At each visit you will get expert care from one of our respiratory specialists.

What happens after the clinical trial finishes?

The results from all participants are analysed to help determine the treatment's safety and effectiveness. Many of our trials have an open label extension which is where patients have access to the drug before it has been approved.

What respiratory conditions do you conduct clinical trials for?

Participation may involve regular appointments, questionnaires, blood tests, breathing tests, medical examinations, imaging or other assessments. The exact requirements vary between studies.

A placebo is an inactive treatment designed to look like the study treatment. Placebos are used so the sponsor can accurately determine whether a new treatment is effective.

Each clinical trial has specific eligibility criteria. The research team will review factors such as your diagnosis, medical history, medications, lung function and other test results to determine whether a study may be suitable.

Trials may be available for conditions such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), interstitial lung disease (ILD), asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, chronic cough and other respiratory conditions. Available studies can change over time.
