Dr Liam Krebs

Thoracic & Sleep Physician

Liam is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician who graduated with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Griffith University School of Medicine in 2011. He has undertaken Physician training within The Prince Charles Hospital (including Chief Medical registrar role), Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Greenslopes Private Hospital. Liam completed a Sleep Medicine Fellowship at Princess Alexandra Hospital.


Liam’s respiratory interests cover all aspects of acute and chronic respiratory medicine including COPD management, asthma management, pulmonary nodules and lung cancer, pleural disease, and Bronchoscopy including Endobronchial Ultrasound (EBUS) diagnostic procedures. Liam also provides sleep medicine care including obstructive sleep apnoea, complex ventilation, commercial driver review and movement related sleep disorders.


Liam’s earlier career was in the field of Occupational Therapy with positions at Redcliffe and Caboolture Hospitals providing Neuro-rehabilitation services. This background training in allied health has fostered a passion for holistic, pragmatic and patient centred care.


Outside medicine, Liam values time with his family and enjoys ultra trail running.
